All bookings are for 7 nights or multiples thereof. The house will be available for occupancy from 4pm Saturday and we kindly ask that you vacate by 10.00am on the Saturday of departure.

Prices

Prices are for the whole house, Saturday to Saturday, sleeping up to twelve.

Bed linen and towels are included, as are a cot and a high chair if you need them, and on stays of two weeks or more we provide a fresh set of linen part-way through.

There is a cleaning charge of €150 and a refundable security deposit of 20% of the rental, returned within a week of your departure. We would rather you knew both before you book than found them at checkout.

Prices are in pounds. If you would rather pay in euros, we can arrange that at the rate on the day.

Getting here

You will need a car. Cambou is a hamlet with no shop, the nearest bakery is a kilometre away in Verfeil, and everything else described on this site is a drive. There is an open garage for two cars and room for four more alongside, so bring as many as you need.

Two airports serve this part of France. Toulouse-Blagnac is the larger by far and has much the best choice of flights from the UK. It is about an hour and a half from the house, roughly 70 miles, mostly on the motorway. Rodez-Aveyron is nearer, about an hour and a quarter and 54 miles, but it is a small airport with only a handful of seasonal routes. The drive is on country roads rather than motorway, and it is a pretty one. Airline schedules here change from one year to the next, so it is worth looking at both rather than assuming.

If you would rather take the train, Lexos is about nine minutes away by car. You would still want a car once you arrived.
